I sat down with the marvellous Amber Petty on her Wise Guides podcast to talk about wounded masculinity, sacred femininity, how to navigate the struggles of the healing journey for both masculine and feminine, and the universality of the Divine Feminine Goddess Isis and how relevant she is in our modern world.
When tensions run high, and when we try to heal collectively – such as through the backlash against inappropriate and oppressive behaviour within the film industry which had sparked at the time of this discussion – it can be difficult to know how to manage the feelings of anger and rage.
Wise and creative, the Goddess Isis demonstrated spiritual strength to remain committed to her path without becoming consumed by extreme negativity and toxic behaviour, even when it was directed at her explicitly. She can teach us how to be real about what is occurring without becoming consumed by hatred or fear. She is a true teacher for modern times.
