Why Modern Humans Need the Divine Feminine

There are two problems that modern humans need to overcome in order to thrive spiritually and emotionally, and the Divine Feminine resolves both of them. 

Firstly, mainstream society doesn’t speak the language of the soul, nor understand what the heart needs for fulfilment. It doesn’t recognise the value of the soul journey, nor can it provide what will support it. 

“If we want meaningful purpose in our lives, to feel inspired and deeply guided, to know that we are living the exact life we were born to live, then we must consciously embrace our soul journey.”

Secondly, although there are many developmental paths and programs available, if they do not provide palpable spiritual juice, they will do little more than change one’s beliefs system. Whilst that is valuable, it is not enough to empower the kind of transformation that sheds layers and even lifetimes of conditioning, opening one into life-enhancing, even life-altering, reconnection with authentic self, revealing our higher purpose and attracting the necessary means and opportunity to fulfil it. 

Individual human effort can only get us so far. Divine support is available to every one of us, and when we know how to access it, it is pure wisdom, kindness and intelligence to reach for it. That support bridges the distance between what our will can access and what grace can provide. 

We need the Divine Feminine because she is this bridge, the way shower, the trigger for growth and evolution and the provider of what is needed (such as opportunities, information, connections and resources) for us to make the most out of this gift of a precious human life. She is the knowledge of what is best for us, of what will move us towards real fulfilment and freedom. 

The Divine Feminine is the principle of innate, intuitive growth – the acorn that knows how to become an oak tree, the caterpillar that knows how to become the butterfly, the human body that knows how to become all soul, as the Sufi Mystic Rumi puts it. 

We need the Divine Feminine when we want to outgrow the problems in our lives – whether they relate to love, money, career, health, or the suffering we see in the world. In connection with her we awaken our confidence, courage and commitment. We no longer fear growth and the uncertainty it brings. We instead learn how to embrace our path and become what we were born to be. We trust in the process, we have faith in the journey, whilst becoming more present in this moment.

We each have the divine birthright to take a spiritual journey that feels true to our hearts. There are voices of control in us and around us that will try to put fear in our hearts, and doubt in our minds, telling us how our spiritual journey should be and what it should not be. Yet the heart is sacred and wild. It needs to be allowed to love freely and fully in order to awaken to its true nature and generate the benefit of more love in our world. It takes courage to embrace your spiritual path in an authentic way, and when you do, it will offer you sanctuary and protection that is deeply nourishing to your soul.
